Historic Coast Outfitters was born from a simple realization:
Life is too short to spend it doing something you don’t love.
For years, founder and Captain Justin Anderson had what most would consider a successful career. A stable job in sales, a steady paycheck, and a comfortable future. But despite all of that, something was missing.
His mind was always somewhere else. Thinking about the next fishing trip, the next hunt, or the next place to explore. He was constantly taking time off, rearranging work, or finding any excuse to get back on the water or into the woods.
Eventually, he realized he was building his entire life around finding time to do what he actually loved.
So he decided to change that.
What started as a lifelong passion for fishing, hunting, and exploring the outdoors grew into a much bigger dream: to build the ultimate outfitter. Not the biggest or the most expensive, but the kind of outfitter he’d want to experience himself. One built on authentic adventures, knowledgeable guides, respect for the outdoors, and genuine relationships.
Today, Historic Coast Outfitters is bringing that vision to life through fishing, hunting, and outdoor experiences across Northeast Florida. From chasing redfish through shallow backcountry creeks to following bird dogs through the quail woods, every adventure is an opportunity to share the places and traditions we love.
Along the way, we’ve surrounded ourselves with guides and outdoorsmen who share that same passion. People who understand that a great day outdoors isn’t always measured by the number of fish caught or birds harvested. It’s about the experience, the stories, the laughs, and the friendships that often last long after the trip is over.
Our vision continues to grow beyond individual trips. We want Historic Coast Outfitters to be a community where people come together through a shared love of the outdoors, discover new adventures, learn from one another, and help preserve the traditions and wild places that make it all possible.
We’re still building the dream, and we’re nowhere near finished.
